How to Use the Countdown Timer

  • Enter a name for your event in the Name (Optional) field, for example "New Year 2026".
  • Pick a preset holiday from the dropdown, or enter a custom Target Date and Target Time.
  • Click Set and Start Countdown to begin the countdown.
  • The display shows remaining Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds in real time.
  • Use Start/Pause to pause and resume, or Reset to clear and set a new target.
  • Click Share Countdown to copy a link. Anyone opening that link will see your countdown automatically.

Need a short countdown fast? Use the Quick Countdown buttons at the top: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. These start instantly without needing a date or time input. Perfect for cooking, meetings, or short tasks.

Count Elapsed Time from Past Dates

Check the Allow past date option before setting your target. The countdown will then display a negative count, showing how much time has passed since that date. Useful for tracking how long ago an event occurred.
